🌸 Sensual Bachata 🌸
Bachata on sensuelli latinalaistanssi, joka on peräisin Dominikaanisesta tasavallasta. Näillä workshopeilla tanssittava Sensual Bachata -tyylisuunta on syntynyt Cadizissa Espanjassa, ja sen keksijänä voidaan pitää Korke Escalonaa ja Judith Corderoa. Workshopeilla ei harjoitella pelkästään kuvioita, vaan opit oikean tekniikan liikkeiden toteuttamiseen ja saat vinkkejä sosiaalitanssiin.
🌸 Soolobachata Footwork & Body Movement 🌸
Footwork & Body Movement -workshopilla harjoitellaan soolona bachatan askelsarjoja, kuvioita ja vartalon liikekieltä. Workshopilla keskitytään erityisesti jalkatyöskentelyn kehittämiseen ja oikean tekniikan oppimiseen sekä harjoitellaan sensual bachatalle tyypillisiä vartalon isolaatioita ja virtaavaa liikekieltä.
Workshop sopii bachatan perusteet hallitseville, esimerkiksi soolo- tai paribachatan alkeiskurssin käyneille ja pidempään bachataa tanssineille.
🌸 Paribachata keskitaso 🌸
Workshopilla syvennytään bachatan musiikintulkintaan ja tuodaan omaan tanssiin stailauksia. Kuvioiden lisäksi harjoitellaan tekniikkaa ja vapaata tanssia.
Workshop soveltuu paribachatan perusteet hyvin hallitseville, esimerkiksi heille, jotka ovat tanssineet paribachataa viikoittain vähintään kahden vuoden ajan.
🧡 Pinja Simola 🧡
Pinja on tanssinut pienestä asti eri tanssilajeja laidasta laitaan, mutta lopulta bachata vei Pinjan sydämen. Hän on panostanut bachatan opiskeluun ja kehittänyt omia taitojaan vierailemalla aktiivisesti maailman huippujen bachatatanssijoiden opeissa ulkomailla.
Vuodesta 2015 lähtien Pinja on tehnyt töitä omatoimisena tanssin ja ryhmäliikunnan ohjaajana ympäri Suomea sekä vieraillut opettamassa useissa tapahtumissa ja festivaaleilla ulkomailla. Tällä hetkellä Pinja opettaa säännöllisesti Helsingissä, Turussa ja Kouvolassa.
Tunneillaan Pinja pitää tärkeänä tekniikkaan perehtymistä ja liikkeiden turvallisuutta, tietenkään hyvää menoa ja iloista ilmapiiriä unohtamatta. Koulutettuna fysioterapeuttina Pinja haluaa keskittyä opetuksessaan myös keholle ominaiseen ja terveelliseen liikkeeseen.
Rakkaus bachataan ja itse musiikkiin on saanut Pinjan toimimaan myös bachata-dj:nä sekä kotimaassa että välillä myös Suomen ulkopuolella. Pinja on järjestänyt vuosien saatossa useita tanssitapahtumia pääkaupunkiseudulla, joista tunnetuin projekti on yhteistyötapahtuma Helsinki Bachata Blast.

🌸 Sensual Bachata 🌸
Bachata is a sensual Latin dance that comes originally from the Dominican Republic. The Sensual Bachata style, which will be danced in these workshops, was born in Cadiz, Spain, and is credited by Korke Escalona and Judith Cordero. In these workshops you will not only practice the figures, but you will learn the right technique and get tips for social dancing.
🌸 Soolobachata Footwork & Body Movement 🌸
The Footwork & Body Movement workshop is a solo practice of bachata steps, patterns and body language. The workshop will focus on developing footwork and learning the correct technique, as well as practising the body isolations and flowing body language typical of sensual bachata.
The workshop is suitable for those who have mastered the basics of bachata, for example those who have taken a beginner’s course in bachata solo or couple bachata and those who have danced bachata for a longer period of time.
🌸 Couple Bachata intermediate 🌸
The workshop will delve into the musical interpretation of bachata and introduce stylings to your own dance. In addition to patterns, technique and free dance will be practiced.
The workshop is suitable for those who have a good control of the basics of couple bachata, for example those who have been dancing couple bachata weekly for at least two years.
🧡 Pinja Simola 🧡
Pinja has danced various dance styles since she was little, but it was bachata that ultimately captured her heart. She has concentrated on studying bachata and developed her skills by actively participating in the classes of the world’s top bachata dancers abroad.
Since 2015, Pinja has been working as an independent dance and sports instructor throughout Finland and has also taught at various events and festivals abroad. Currently, Pinja teaches regularly in Helsinki, Turku, and Kouvola.
In her classes, Pinja emphasizes the importance of understanding the right technique and the safety of movements, while of course not forgetting good rhythm and a joyful atmosphere either. As a trained physiotherapist, Pinja wants to focus on natural and healthy movement in her teaching.
Love for bachata and the music itself has led Pinja to also work as a bachata DJ both in her home country and occasionally outside of Finland. Over the years, Pinja has organized several dance events in the capital region, the most well-known project being the collaborative event Helsinki Bachata Blast.
