Cooking as a First Language is partnering with the NMHS Bereavement Coordinator to present a free to the community, cooking class for those who have lost a spouse. Community Guest Chef, Christ Jabil will demonstrate several recipes that make great weeknight dinners for one person.
Through the expertise of our guest chef, the support of an NMHS social worker, and the healing power of community, participants will receive support as they adjust to life with an empy chair at the table.
We will send you home with several ideas for cooking for one person and hopefully some new friends too!
If you have any questions, contact Lauren at 662-837-5178.
