The annual Gobblah tourney is back again! Bigger and better than ever! Get your teams in now for the biggest end of the year tourney in Central Vermont, where softball and helping the community come together and everyone is a winner. New this year instead of doin a discount for non perishables we are gonna give out $250 cold hard cash to the team that brings the most food for food shelf! Each team will have a bin/ spot at the tunbridge field and the team that brings the most donated food will win the extra money.
Cranky Panda sports jerseys and batting gloves will be for sale at the tunbridge field this year.
Also the is year we will be paying out $2400 cash to the top 3 teams along with trophies, and in alliance with Cranky Panda sports the top 3 teams with receive team set of long sleeve gold, silver and bronze jerseys!!!
The format is the same taking the 1st 16 teams with deposit so get them in quick.
$400 per team
$50 non-refundable deposit by Nov.2nd
7/3 or 6/4 format
1 eh total can be M or F but no more then 11 batters total.
1-1 count no waste
No more then 3 guys in row (except bottom to top of lineup)
1 sober(ish) ump from each team, even if you’re out of tourney (don’t be that team)
52/300 hardball
Guys swing wood or doggie, girls swing open stamp bat
If guy is walked in front of girl, guys gets 2nd, girl will start with 2-1 count. (Make those pitches count)
NO PICKUPS ALLOWED UNLESS INJURY
If you can only field 9, 10th spot in lineup is an auto out!!!!!!
Bank in tunbridge is a live ball(play it like a wall) if ball hits power lines and is caught it is an out!
Chelsea or carpenter field if ball rolls into tall grass it’s a ground rule double (OF must put hands up to notify umps) if the ball goes in the tall grass in the air it’s all you can get.

1st- $1200 plus cup
2nd- $700 plus trophy
3rd- $500 plus trophy
