Our third bush rogaine of the season is here!
Choose from a 6 hour event (check in 8.45am) or 3 hour (check in 10.45am).
Location: Check-in will be located on Allen Road Tumoulin, with the course set in Tumoulin National Park North West of Ravenshoe.
Team Size: Teams of 2 to 5
Categories: Mixed, Male and Female plus Family and Novice categories
Age Classes: Open, Under 23, Veteran, Super Veteran, Ultra Veteran
Cost: $25 Full, $20 Concession (full time students under 25), free for Under 14s
The course: Traipsin’ Tumoulin is set in one of Queensland’s newest National Parks. Tumoulin National Park is located about 77km south-west of Cairns. It’s known for its diverse habitats, including high-altitude rainforest, wet and dry sclerophyll forests, and endangered ecosystems like wet sclerophyll forests. The park is also home to threatened species such as the yellow-bellied glider, magnificent broodfrog, and the southern rufous owl. Other notable features include towering rose gums, red stringybark, numerous fresh water creeks and waterfalls, and the Millstream River.
This foot based event will be held in an ideal area, with the Hash House location very easily accessible to all vehicle types. There is quite a lot of elevation change on course but there will be lots of close controls and plenty of tracks to make this a great event.
