About John R. Miller: John R. Miller is best described as a modern Americana / alt‑country singer‑songwriter, blending country, blues, folk, and roots‑rock influences. He’s known for tightly written songs full of detail and honest reflection.
His debut solo album, Depreciated, introduced him as a songwriter with a strong voice and a clear perspective, backed by a band with energy and precision. Roots music favorite Tyler Childers, one of Miller’s longtime supporters, calls him “a well-travelled wordsmith mapping out the world he’s seen, three chords at a time."
