About the event

What We Call Home - Book Launch & Reading
Book launch and reading alert! Join us Friday August 8th at Heirloom Rustic Ales to celebrate the release of "What We Call Home" a homemaking anthology edited by Jes McCutchen and featuring seven writers, Claire Campo, Owner of Swan Song Studios, Executive Director at Words of the people writes about the collection, "These stories and poems immortalize the work of home, of our lives, of what we frequently deem mundane. Here, the ordinary is no longer quiet, it roars, it weeps and it remembers."

Featuring readings from many of the contributors, and hosted by Evan B Hughes to add some lightness between the readings, we hope you can join us and get your copy!

Heirloom has a wide variety of beers and also NA options. Families welcome, though some of the content will have heavy themes. Anyone who would like to discuss any content / trigger warnings ahead of time, is encouraged to reach out to Jes!
