Tulsa Opera: The Hiding Tree

This magical children's opera features storytelling, exciting singing, beautiful costumes and audience participation.

When a terrible, hungry monster crawls out of the ocean and eats up a whole island, only two clever sisters escape. Big Sister hides in a tree, but Little Sister is captured. The monster wants to eat her up too! Big Sister and Little Sister must work together to save each other and what is left of their island home. This Micronesian folktale about sisterly love and ingenuity is fun for kids and adults ages 5 and up.
