🍲 Sunday Soup Group: Monthly Cooking Workshop 🍲
Every 1st Sunday | 3pm–5pm | The Kitchen at Burning Cedar Sovereign Wellness
Join us for Sunday Soup Group, a cozy, hands-on cooking workshop held every first Sunday of the month. Together, we’ll prepare a big pot of soup using seasonal, nourishing ingredients while exploring the concept of food as medicine through the lens of Indigenous foodways and communal care.
Each month features a new recipe centered on comfort, seasonality, and traditional nutrition — from healing broths and Three Sisters stews to wild greens and root vegetable soups. As we cook, we’ll also share stories, talk about the cultural roots of the ingredients, and reconnect over a warm meal.
This isn’t just about cooking — it’s about building community, reclaiming traditional knowledge, and creating space for rest and restoration through food.
✨ What to Expect:
Group soup-making and recipe sharing
Conversations around Indigenous food sovereignty and healing
Cultural context and traditional uses of ingredients
A shared meal and time to reflect, connect, and nourish body and spirit
No prior cooking experience needed.
