Join us at Agitsi Stained Glass, llc / RT66 Weddings, llc for a fun-filled in-person event! Get ready to unleash your creativity and make stunning suncatchers out of stained glass. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop is perfect for everyone. Our skilled instructors will guide you through the process, teaching you the techniques and tricks to create your own unique snowflake masterpiece. Info: we have mutiple patterns to choose from and an instructor will help you to choose a pattern to get you started as a beginner or experienced.
Info: We will start teaching you how to build your skills with how to use a glass cutter and grinder.
Info: You can step away and venture the many food options of RT66, Big Daddy BBQ, Arnold's Hamburgers, Ollies Buffet, and more... your also welcome to bring your unch, snacks and covered cups. We have a water machine that has cold and hot filtered water for free
Info: Learn how to use the tools and tricks of the trade on how to apply and burnish copper foil tape. Some project may use lead came and we can show you that as well!
Info: We have the best soldering irons on the market and want to teach you how to solder like a pro.
Info: Hangers can be tricky, and we are here to help you with some hands-on tips. Copper and Black patina and how to apply it is also something we will cover and have available. Plus, extras such as decorative wire and the little things that make your piece unique and personal.
Info: We will finish up our session with the proper ways to clean and wax pieces to keep that lasting shine.
Info: We supply everything you will need. Every person will have their own private work station fully equipped with all supplies needed. There are bevels available that can work with the patterns and can be purchased at class to add to your piece if desired. You can make multiple small pieces or a large one. The agenda is an estimated time frame, we do not work on a set time and like for everyone to work at their own pace.
