Every second Saturday of each month, Studio Row and surrounding businesses celebrate all the art, music, food, and fun that comes and goes!
July 12th Second Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Hummingbird will be a firecracker explosion of fun! Come find fantastic art for yourself or for great gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, or “just because” for those you love. Zarrow Art Club youth art is on display through the summer as part of our Tulsa Public Schools’ ongoing youth art display and partnership. Paula Day’s Creative Fun at The Humm Cyanotype class will be in session. We are participating in the Weekend of Local event, an annual campaign celebrating small businesses all over Oklahoma—some special giveaways are in store. Refreshments will be served at the gallery. We have sparkling art and fun on Studio Row and at The Humm!
The Church Studio hosts music for “Tunes @ Noon.” Studio Records Tulsa has vinyl and lots of other musical items, too. Sunset Club Records is a Tulsa record label that is a local music hub with artwork/concert posters, used cassettes, and more. JustArts Gallery has work by underrepresented artists facing significant barriers to creating and sharing their work. 918 Maples Tacos & Cantina, Freeway Cafe Downtown, Country Bird Bakery, Oakhart Barbecue, and Notes of Marrakesh have fantastic food. The grand opening for new restaurant Daddy B’s BBQ is planned for Thursday, July 24! Duets Bed and Breakfast has two second-story, musically-themed suites in which to relax and sleep. Cody Mayo Studios and Michele Ross Studios offer acting and music events/lessons for all ages. Olde Tyme Barber of Tulsa will give a cut above, and Tallgrass Tailor (by appointment only) will sew up an outfit with love. Hummingbird has artists’ discounts, holiday themes during appropriate months, and receptions for youth artists and their art as part of our Tulsa Public Schools’ ongoing youth art display and partnership.
Our Second Saturdays are lots of fun, and the Studio Row businesses will be open and ready for the Second Saturday “humm”!
