Theatre North presents "Othello" - a Tulsa Shakespeare Company partnership.

Please prepare a dramatic monologue, maximum of one minute, in the style of the show. Bring a resume and headshot if you have one.
Rehearsals will begin in late August/early September. This production will be staged at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center - Liddy Doenges Theatre, Oct. 18-26, 2025. Performances will take place on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
Character Synopsis:
OTHELLO, a Moorish general in the Venetian army
DESDEMONA, a Venetian lady
BRABANTIO/Gent 1, a Venetian senator, father to Desdemona
IAGO, Othello’s standard-bearer, or “ancient”
EMILIA, Iago’s wife and Desdemona’s attendant
CASSIO, Othello’s second-in-command, or lieutenant
RODERIGO, a Venetian gentleman
Duke of Venice/MONTANO, an official in Cyprus
BIANCA/Gent 2, a woman in Cyprus in love with Cassio
