Come hang out with us after you visit the Farmer's market, and learn the quiet art of hand patchwork and quilting with Elizabeth Martin! For first timers or repeat attenders- this time, you’ll have the option to add curved piecing or a star block to your bag of hand quilting tricks!
In this beginner friendly class, you’ll learn to tie a knot, mark a seam allowance, use a running stitch for sewing and quilting, and self bind your little quilt. Learn to cut & hand stitch pieces to make a classic quilt block using a curved template. Materials included.
You’ll start your patchwork in the workshop, and finish it anywhere you like: on your porch, your lunch break, in the carline, waiting for an appointment … where will you do your hand stitching?
*You can make a tiny quilt with your patchwork, or you can use it to embellish one of your favorite garments, like your jean jacket, or make a patch pocket for a skirt, pants, or tote bag.
2 hours, $60, includes everything you will need!
