Creating for Calm: Ceramics & Yoga

Ready to connect with your creative spirit from a place of calm and presence? Join Alysia Rodriguez (@homehandceramics) for a grounding blend of yin yoga, meditation, and hand-built ceramics.

In this gentle, introspective workshop, you'll move through restorative poses and guided meditation designed to quiet the mind and open the body.
After a 45-minute yoga practice, you'll work with your hands and wooden tools to shape clay into a meaningful vessel - this could be a cup for future cacao or tea ceremonies, a piece for an altar, or anything that your heart desires!

Make a selection from 8 different beautiful ceramic glazes to complete your creation.
Your piece will be fired in a kiln and become ceramic stoneware, making it durable and food-safe. Please allow two weeks for your piece to be ready for pick-up.

No yoga or ceramics experience needed; just bring an open heart and wear comfy clothes. Be comfortable to create from a seated position on the mat, with blocks or bolsters available for support.
