Contact Beyond Contact

Contact Beyond Contact (CBC) is a transformative dance modality that blends practices such as Qigong, Contact Improv, and Authentic Movement, creating a unique space for connection and exploration. In this immersive workshop, participants will engage in movement with others, developing safety and trust within pairs to explore new movement forms that deepen connection and awareness.

Through a combination of guided exercises and spontaneous dance, this workshop weaves together tools and roles designed to enhance closeness and emotional presence. You will discover how to communicate beyond words, tapping into the energy and subtleties of the body, while exploring your own intuitive responses to others. The experience offers space for participants to move, reflect, and engage in discussions that foster curiosity and understanding about what is alive in the minds, hearts, and bodies of everyone present.
