I am happy to announce auditions for “A Diary of Dying Things”. This play tells the story of the tragic fates of two young women whose simple journey to health and wellness leads them into the hands of a manipulative doctor, and trapped in a scam that threatens their lives and sanity.
*This is a heightened and stylized staging and deals with themes of abuse and death. *

Cast of Characters
JACQUELINE BELLIWICK: (f/20’s) A young heiress to an oil fortune. She is engaging and social, likable and attractive.
NORA FREMONT: Jacqueline’s best friend and ward to her recently deceased father. Practical and patient. She lives in Jacqueline’s shadow but doesn’t seem to mind.
JULIAN HARKER: (m/20’s-30’s) Assistant to Nora and Jacqueline. Well educated. Fiercely loyal.
*(Tentatively cast, based on actor’s availability) Dr. LYNDA HOLLOWAY: (f/40’s and above) A doctor in the field of wellness and nutrition. Strict, hard, and intimidating hidden under a cover of false kindness and warmth.*
EARL BASSETT: (m/40+) Dr. Holloway’s assistant. An ominous figure with a mysterious past.
JOHN CARGILL: (m/30’s and above) A local lawyer and long term friend of Julian.
