On August 9th, open your mind to Graveyard Shift’s all-night movie marathon, SLUMBER PARTY SCI-FI! We’re booting up five futuristic films of the 80s and 90s, including TOTAL RECALL, ROBOCOP, THE TERMINATOR, RIKI-OH: THE STORY OF RICKY, plus a movie that will remain a secret until the moment it starts playing. Event merch will be available for purchase, plus we’ll have a special beer from Heirloom Rustic Ales available on tap and in collector cans.

#1 TOTAL RECALL (1990, 4K screening, 113 min, rated R)
Doug Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger) seems to have it pretty good in 2084 A.D. A heavily muscled construction worker, he boasts a beautiful wife, Lori (Sharon Stone), good friends, and a technologically advanced home featuring video phones and even video walls. But he is haunted by dreams of a mysterious brunette woman and the red wastelands of Mars. Quaid visits Rekall, a unique travel agency that implants the memory of an adventure into its customers’ minds, to get the chance to live out his Martian fantasies. When something goes terribly wrong and a blocked off portion of his mind is activated, Quaid finds himself at the center of a dangerous conspiracy. He must travel to Mars and get to the bottom of why he is being hunted by trigger-happy henchmen. But how can he know that what he’s experiencing isn’t just part of the Rekall experience? Are the mutant revolutionaries on Mars his allies, enemies, or complete fabrications? And is the lovely brunette at his side nothing more than a figment of his imagination?
#2 ROBOCOP (1987, 4K screening, 103 min, unrated)
In this classic sci-fi action-adventure, when a good cop gets blown away by ruthless criminals, innovative doctors are able to piece him back together as an unstoppable crime-fighting cyborg called “RoboCop.” Equipped with high-tech weaponry, RoboCop quickly cleans up the crime-ridden streets of Detroit. But despite his new, hardened exterior, RoboCop relives vivid nightmares of his own death at the hands of vicious killers. Now he seeks more than justice…he seeks revenge!
#3 THE TERMINATOR (1984, 4K restoration, 107 min, rated R)
In 2029, the war between man and machine has desolated the Earth, leaving humanity all but wiped out. Pockets of survivors remain – either living as slaves serving their technological overlords, or as resistance fighters attempting to overthrow the sentient defense network that controls the machines. From this wasteland, two soldiers are sent back in time to Los Angeles, 1984 to influence the outcome of a conflict that hasn’t taken place yet. One is an unstoppable cyborg assassin, the other a human guerrilla fighter. Serving on opposite sides of the battle, they share the same target: Sarah Connor, and unsuspecting young woman whose unborn child will become the key to saving mankind.
