CLASS DESCRIPTION
Ready to take your watercolor skills to the next level? Join artist and instructor Tim Bhajjan for a 7-week journey into the heart of watercolor painting at the SAWG Gallery.
This intermediate-level class goes beyond the basics to explore how color, value, design, and composition work together to create expressive, cohesive paintings. Each session features in-class exercises and optional take-home practice. You’ll also receive support in developing your personal style and learning how to evaluate your work with confidence.
Ideal for continuing students and artists comfortable with watercolor fundamentals who are ready to grow.

Students should bring their own materials, including:
• Good quality watercolor paper (e.g. Arches 140 lb cold press)
• Professional watercolor paints (e.g. M. Graham, Daniel Smith, Winsor & Newton)
• Brushes you are comfortable with (e.g. round #14–16 and a #3 rigger brush)
• Palette with large wells
• Tracing paper, carbon paper, pencil, eraser
• Masking tape, backing board, large water container, paper towels
• Optional: personal reference materials
