Join us for the 25th Annual Moon Festival, where we will celebrate 380 years of Flushing, Queens which was founded on October 10, 1645.
There will be kite flying inside Kissena Corridor Park along Elder Avenue, between Main & Colden Streets from 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
There will be a parade along Main Street, beginning at 5:00 PM (meet at 4:00 PM on 38th Avenue, between Main and Prince Streets). Parade will travel south on Main Street, and end at Kissena Corridor Park @ Elder Avenue.
An opening ceremony performance will begin after the parade at 5:30 PM, at Elder Avenue & Colden Street.
Yesterday And Today will perform three sets of Beatles between 5:00 PM & 8:00 PM inside Kissena Corridor Park @ 45th Avenue. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on the lawn. FREE admission!
There will be a moon cake-eating contest @ 6:30 PM.
And, at 8:00 PM, as the band is ending, for the grand finale, there will be a spectacular fireworks show over the Park.
