Meet The Man: A Tucson Men's Wellness Group

Join us to learn more about Meet The Man program, created and hosted by The Healing Portal, a wellness center in Tucson. This is your invitation to reflect, pause and create meaningful connections. Join us for drinks, appetizers and learn more about this exciting program.

Led by Dr. Andrew Watley

Dr. Andrew Mark Watley is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended St. Augustine for high school and is a member of the graduating class of 2005. He attended college at Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology in 2009.

In August of the same year, Dr. Watley began his teaching career as a high school religion teacher at Archbishop Rummel High School where he would stay for 5 years while working on his Master’s Degree in counseling. He earned a dual Master’s Degree in School Behavioral Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Holy Cross in 2012 while working as a religion teacher and school counselor intern at Holy Cross High School.

Dr. Watley completed his Doctoral Studies from the same university in 2017 earning a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision upon the completion of a dissertation which explored the lived experiences of men who struggle with the relationship between masculinity and muscularity.

In collaboration with The Healing Portal, Dr. Watley devotes his time to men's wellness groups.
