Marguerite Ough and Larry Day Memorial Voice Competition

The annual Marguerite Ough and Dr. Larry Day Memorial Competition honors the legacy of two beloved University of Arizona voice faculty members who shaped generations of singers through their dedication to teaching. Established by the Tucson Musical Arts Club, the event supports scholarships for graduate women in voice and celebrates the enduring impact of contralto Marguerite Ough and opera professor Dr. Larry Day—both revered for their artistry, mentorship, and lifelong commitment to vocal excellence.

Free and open to the public.
