Light The Mic is a curated artist showcase that amplifies the voices of local creatives across all mediums.

We provide intentional performance opportunities that center expression, experimentation, and identity—particularly for Black, queer, and marginalized artists in Tucson.

By offering high-quality performance footage, community visibility, and a deeply supportive environment, we equip artists with tools to grow their audience, sharpen their presence, and build lasting connections.

This is where raw truth meets real community. We envision Light The Mic as a cornerstone of Tucson’s creative landscape—a platform where emerging artists are honored, seen, and celebrated on their terms.

Through curated experiences, thoughtful storytelling, and cultural relevance, we aim to shift how local talent is recognized and remembered 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾
