Las Azaleas (Music in the Courtyard)

Join us and enjoy a free end-of-week live music performance during the fifth season of Music in the Courtyard, a free concert series in the beautiful Historic Pima County Courthouse Courtyard.

Presented in partnership with Pima County Attractions & Tourism, Visit Tucson, and the Southwest Folklife Alliance, this live music series brings local talent to the heart of downtown Tucson on Fridays—perfect for a midday break, lunch outing, or cultural escape in your workday. Featuring a rotating lineup of musicians from Southwest Folklife Alliance’s Master-Apprentice Program, celebrating and sustaining cultural traditions.

Las Azaleas is a mariachi-inspired, Latina musical group in Tucson with a love of mariachi, boleros, and tropical, and perform music composed or popularized by pioneering women in Latin music. They are inspired by Selena, Natalia Lafourcade, Rocio Durcal, and Maria Grever, to name just a few, and their performances resonate with audiences of all ages.
