� Yin Yoga For Minoritised Women With Anu �
We’re absolutely thrilled to announce our exciting new Yoga sessions with Anu , a skilled and compassionate Yin Yoga instructor, tailored specifically for the IWN community. These free weekly sessions are designed to provide a calm, welcoming, and inclusive space for minoritised women to stretch, breathe, and reconnect with their inner stillness amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Yin Yoga, known for its gentle and restorative nature, focuses on deep stretching and relaxation. This practice is perfect for individuals of all experience levels, as no prior yoga experience is needed to join in. All you need to do is wear something comfortable that allows for free movement and come as you are, ready to embrace the soothing atmosphere.
The session will last approximately 60-70 minutes, beginning with a few moments dedicated to settling in and grounding ourselves. This initial period is essential for creating a peaceful mindset and preparing the body for the practice ahead. At the end of the session, we will take our time to slowly come out of the practice, allowing the benefits of the yoga to integrate into our bodies and minds.

WOMEN ONLY
Please bring along your own yoga mat for your practice, and if you have them, feel free to bring a blanket and a block to enhance your comfort and support during the poses. These props can be incredibly helpful in facilitating deeper relaxation and allowing for a more fulfilling experience throughout the session.

While these sessions are free to attend, we do ask for a small deposit to secure your place. This deposit is fully refundable upon your attendance at the session, but please note that it will be non-refundable if you do not attend. This policy helps us ensure that we can accommodate all participants effectively and maintain a fair and supportive community atmosphere.

About Anu
I am a certified Breathwork and Yin Yoga teacher, drawn to these introspective practices through years of exploring many different yoga styles. Directed breathing and elongated poses have helped me cultivate deeper focus and openness — in both my body and thoughts, allowing me to experience everyday life with more strength and confidence.
I believe stillness can be just as transformative as movement, and I’m passionate about holding space for others to experience that too.
