Join powerhouse cabaret performers on a 75-minute journey through the last 100 years of queer music. From Noel Coward to the Pink Pony Club, this cabaret adventure showcases the power, the perseverance, and the joy of queer artists across generations.
The performers, Andrew Morrisey and Andrew Boudreau, are two queer best friends who grew up together in Truro, Nova Scotia and now collaborate together in New York City. With years of experience performing together, their talents on vocals and piano will leave you laughing, crying, and with a renewed appreciation for our shared history of queer artistry.
Andrew Morrisey and Andrew Boudreau are New Yorkers who grew up in Truro, NS. These longtime friends have performed at famed Manhattan nightclubs like the Duplex, The Bitter End, and The Cutting Room, as well as the National Arts Centre in Ottawa and Buddies in Bad Times in Toronto. In March, along with fellow Truro friend and Queer Historian, Dane Stewart, they performed in Resurrection at Montreal’s Centaur Theatre. A critic noted that they are “ in total osmosis and create pure magic ,” Theatralites.

Andrew Boudreau is a celebrated pianist and composer with a long list of international accolades that include being named the 2019 winner of the Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition. His other awards include an Astral Artist Prize at the National Arts Centre and a Quebec OPUS Prize for Concert of the Year in Jazz and World Music. Andrew has performed in festivals across Canada, the US and Europe, and has accompanied of a variety of renowned artists such as soprano Measha Brueggergosman.
Andrew Morrisey has been dazzling audiences across North America in Off-Broadway musicals and plays, national tours and cabaret hotspots. In 2019, he played the title role in the Canadian Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch – which earned him significant critical acclaim and an award for Best Musical at the BroadwayWorld Awards in Toronto. Andrew is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Music Theatre - Performance program, Circle in the Square Theatre School’s acting program, the International Cabaret Conference at Yale University and the Vocal Pedagogy Professional Workshop at Berklee College.
