Our event will be in support of the Bargain Grocery.
This month's community open mic will feature Joanne's Driving the Bus.
Joanne's Driving the Bus is a quartet comprised of lifelong veteran musicians including:
Joanne DelCarpine on lead vocal, guitar and percussion. Like all of her bandmates, Joanne has performed in numerous ensemble settings covering a variety of genres." She has also been teaching hand drumming for years at The Berkshire Pulse.
Bob Nieman's heavily blues-influenced approach on Electric guitar has placed him in good stead over the years, performing and recording with a long list of collaborators.
Their drum chair is held by Ben Rau, a retired music teacher who also sings and gigs regularly with The Georgie Wonder Big Band and is frequently called for orchestra pit work as well. Ben is also sought after by several bands including the eight piece horn band, Soul Provider.
Paul Rosamilia has been playing bass guitar for decades and holds a BA in music. For the past two years he has also run the Bass Summit with friend and Upstate NY luminary, Bob Van Detta. He also sings BGVs.
Come hear Joanne's Driving the Bus and bring a song to share in the Open Mic – or just come enjoy some live music, all for a good cause!
