About the event

Tri-Township Park Tree Planting Day!
Join us to support the health of the communities’ tree canopy by lending a hand! Tri-Township Park District is hosting a volunteer tree planting event from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 28th!
There will be trained staff to provide direction and tools for planting. Volunteers will meet at the maintenance shed located behind the petting zoo and complete plantings throughout the park. No experience is necessary to participate, and all are welcome!
We wish to thank Trees Forever and the Illinois Community Canopy Grant. With this grant we are able to plant 81 native trees!
Thank you to all who have made this possible, Crain Tree Farm for their nursery and guidance, and maintenance staff for the dedication to planting.
