Join Upstate Gets Lit at Context Collective for a curated book swap + creative social night designed for curious readers and thoughtful conversationalists. Guests arrive with two books to exchange, then settle into an evening of low-pressure connection using guided conversation prompts from We’re Not Really Strangers. You’ll be encouraged to talk with someone you don’t know, decorate your books with provided art supplies, and leave anonymous compliment cards for people you meet.

There will also be a raffle for a one-of-a-kind ceramic piece, with proceeds supporting a local cat rescue (in addition to ticket sales).

Expect good books, meaningful interactions, hands-on making, and a room that feels open, warm, and intentional. Come solo or with a friend — you’ll fit right in.
