We had a visit from firefighters and now we are lucky enough to be welcomed into the station for a look around properly!
Come along and think like a firefighter, we will see where the fire engines and uniforms are kept, and hopefully if we are really lucky we can see the fire hoses being used.
IMPORTANT: This visit is during operational hours, so we run the risk of being cancelled for an emergency or our visit being called short. This also means unfortunately can’t promise a parking space as it is an active fire station with staff in and out, but we’ve been advised to used the right hand side. However please considered there is also plenty of road side parking in safe suitable areas on side streets, there’s Tesco express very close too but I have a feeling that’s likely a short stay car park, or the car park on Duke Street, and it’s literally only a 5 minute walk up the hill to the station.
SEN inspired, but everyone welcome.
