Et dypdykk ned i kroppen, til begjæret før begjæret, til det menneskelige ønsket om tilhørighet. Inn i et mikrounivers hvor lag på lag med lengsler utfolder seg og transformeres, der kroppen og lyden av stemme og pust forteller alt det ord alene ikke kan si.

Premiere på et filmprosjekt om forskjellighet, frihet og fellesskap. Hva skjer når folk får et rom, to dører – og full frihet foran kamera? The Democratic Set viser en serie korte scener, laget av folk fra Trondheim i et nøytralt filmsett – uten manus og uten regler. Resultatet er rart, morsomt, sårt og overraskende. Et portrett av et fellesskap der alle får slippe til, på egne premisser.

A short film project about differences, freedom and community, premiering this night. The Democratic Set presents a series of short scenes, created with people from Trondheim in a small film set – with no script and no rules. The result is strange, funny, moving and surprising. A portrait of a community where all kinds of people take part on their own terms.

Nothing Special exhibition by Halvard Damm Laupstad (NO)
All night, all over town
When we ask Halvard what he did over the weekend, his reply is always: “Nothing Special.”
But what’s really behind that mysterious reply? In this project, Halvard creates colourful drawings based on funny animal videos – inspired by an online habit many of us share. The result is a playful and personal exhibition about the internet, everyday life, and the things that might be morespecial than they seem.
