How do we maintain trust in research?

Welcome to a panel debate on the issue of trust in research. In a time where the scientific process is increasingly driven by numbers and where the amount of articles coming from fake papermills are exploding, questions arise about how these issues might be influencing the quality and credibility of what’s published.

Therefore it seems more important than ever to find ways to secure trust in the science we base our society on, such as promoting more ethical and transparent research practices.
Join us for a panel discussion where four academics of various backgrounds and experiences will shed light on the issues facing scientific credibility, and suggestions on ways in which the academic community can maintain trust and educate the next generation.
