Trinity Lions Club 2025 Pet Expo and Talent Show (P.E.T.S.)
Saturday, October 18th, 10am until 2pm, Trinity Community Center. This will be a family oriented, dog-friendly event, allowing you and your pet to compete for these titles and more:
Best Dog Vocalist Best Pet Photo with Caption
Best Dressed Dog Dog Breed Trivia Contest
Fastest Tail Wag Best True Dog Tale
Best Halloween Costume Best Original Dog Poem/Song
Best Tricks (up to 3) Face Painting
Children’s Games
Pet parents will also have opportunity to win contests in Canine Breed Trivia, True Dog Story and Original Poem/Song; all specific to our canine friends. One can of store purchased, in-date, food item per person will allow entry into Community Center and will also be the entry fee for these contests.
This food will be given to the Martin Senior Center. Thus, this will be both a community “food raiser” and fund raiser for Lions charities.
Multiple vendors will be present to offer dog-specific products and services including training, dog grooming, pet portraits, pet sitting, per memorials, low-cost microchipping, behavior management and assorted pet related products. Children’s Story Time, face painting and a “Pet Goodie Basket Raffle” along with a Silent Auction will add excitement and fun.
Pet owners are asked to pre-register, completing a “Pet Pawsport”, showing proof of current rabies vaccination. All pets must stay on-leash and will be screened upon entry to the Community Center for behavior issues which could pose a threat to other individuals or pets. Good manners among dogs are essential for them to participate. Security personnel will be on hand for the entirety of the event. Please come and enjoy this family event with or without your puppy.
If you would like to help our Lions Club in this public service event as a sponsor or donor, we welcome your assistance. All partnering entities will receive advertising in the event brochure given to every visitor. A business or individual that sponsors an event will be announced when that contest occurs.
Exhibitors may set up banners, digital displays, etc. and distribute business cards and printed material at each booth. In addition, two-minute infomercials over the sound system will be offered throughout the day for exhibitors to promote their pet-oriented goods or services.
The cost of each 10’ x 10’ booth space will be $25.00 due by the 1st of October. Eight-foot tables, chairs and electricity will be provided. Adjacent booths may be reserved if more room is required.
Sponsors may contribute in several ways:
-Be the business recognized for paying specific costs of the event such as contest awards, Trinity Community Center rental fee or security.
-Sponsor one or more events for $50 or $100 each. (see list).
-Give gift cards of $50 or more, for general use or to be redeemed at the donating businesses.
-Simply donate to the Trinity Lions Club, a 501-3c organization.
