🦇Το Cavers Fest 2025 είναι μια πρωτοβουλία που σκοπό έχει την ανάδειξη της Ελληνικής φύσης, των βουνών και της σπηλαιολογίας. Η γνωριμία με τα παραπάνω είναι η βάση για κάθε προσπάθεια προστασίας τόσο του επίγειου περιβάλλοντος όσο και του υπόγειου.
🦇Η βασική ιδέα του Cavers Fest 2025 είναι η συνάντηση φυσιολατρών (σπηλαιολόγων και μη) σε μια μεγάλη γιορτή με βάση ένα μοναδικό φυσικό και ιστορικό μέρος της Ελλάδας, τα Άγραφα!
🦇Το Cavers Fest 2025 θα διαρκέσει 3 ημέρες και θα περιλαμβάνει κατασκήνωση στο βουνό και διαμονή στο καταφύγιο, επισκέψεις σε γνωστά σπήλαια τις περιοχής, καταγραφή σπηλαιοπανίδας, πεζοπορικά "ψαχτήρια" για ανακάλυψη νέων πιθανών σπηλαίων και εξερεύνηση αυτών σε γύρω περιοχές, σπηλαιοβιολογικά εργαστήρια, δραστηριότητες (τεχνικές μονού σχοινιού, zipline και άλλα), παρουσιάσεις, ενημερώσεις για την περιοχή, προβολή ντοκιμαντέρ, ζωντανή μουσική, barbeque και όπου μας οδηγήσει η διάθεση των ημερών.
🐾Η διοργάνωση προσφέρεται από τον οργανισμό Nose For A Cause, μια ομάδα που ασχολείται με την έρευνα και την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος με βάση την διατήρηση της άγριας ζωής χρησιμοποιώντας εξειδικευμένες μεθοδολογίες όπως εκπαιδευμένους σκύλους για ανίχνευση άγριας ζωής, drones, camera traps, συσκευές ηχοεντοπισμού και άλλα.
🏔Η βάση του Cavers Fest 2025 είναι το καταφύγιο Αγράφων (Καραμανώλη) διαχειριστές του οποίου συμβάλουν ενεργά στην προστασία της περιοχής τους και μας υποστηρίζουν διοργανωτικά.
✅Η συμμετοχή και οι δράσεις είναι ΔΩΡΕΑΝ για όλους με μόνο περιορισμό τις επισκέψεις σε βάραθρα (κάθετα σπήλαια) όπου χρειάζεται σπηλαιολογική εμπειρία και κατάρτιση σε τεχνικές χρήσης μονού σχοινιού για λόγους ασφαλείας τόσο του ανθρώπου όσο και του σπηλαίου.

🦇Cavers Fest 2025 is an initiative aimed at showcasing the beauty of Greek nature, mountains, and speleology. Getting to know these elements is the foundation for any effort to protect both the surface environment and the underground world.
🦇The core idea of Cavers Fest 2025 is to bring together nature enthusiasts (both cavers and non-cavers) in a grand celebration centered around a unique natural and historic region of Greece: Agrafa!
🦇The festival will last for three days and will include camping in the mountains or staying at the refuge, visits to well-known caves in the area, documentation of cave fauna, exploratory hikes to discover potential new caves and explore them in nearby regions, cave biology workshops, activities (single rope techniques, ziplining, and more), presentations, information sessions about the area, documentary screenings, live music, barbecues, and spontaneous fun dictated by the spirit of the event.
🐾The event is organized by Nose For A Cause, a team dedicated to environmental research and protection, focusing on wildlife conservation using specialized methodologies such as trained wildlife detection dogs, drones, camera traps, acoustic monitoring devices, and more.
🏔The base of Cavers Fest 2025 is Agrafa Refuge (Karamanoli), whose managers actively contribute to the protection of their region and support the organization of this event.
✅Participation and all activities are FREE for everyone, with the only restriction being visits to vertical caves (pits), which require prior caving experience and proficiency in single-rope techniques for the safety of both participants and the caves.
