Sisters Bianca and Sierra Casady shine at the forefront of experimental pop music, influencing countless musicians, inspiring, and creating a refuge for every "criminal queer" in the world.
With a global fan base, CocoRosie have spent two decades nurturing their unique musical gem, selling out every new live show. Known for their timeless harmonies featuring lo-fi sounds, classical instrumentation, and innovative rhythms, the CocoRosie sisters continue to elevate their sound with each new record.
Their long-awaited new album, “Little Death Wishes”, has just been released, offering a kaleidoscopic narrative of women's generational struggles and the fractured realities of their lives. CocoRosie have announced their new European tour dates, and we are honored and thrilled to welcome them to Teatro Miela in Trieste.
Le sorelle Bianca e Sierra Casady risplendono nell'avanguardia musicale della musica pop sperimentale, influenzando innumerevoli musicisti, ispirando e creando rifugio per ogni "criminal queer" del mondo.
Con una fan-base a livello globale, per due decenni le CocoRosie hanno portato avanti il loro gioiello musicale e registrando il tutto esaurito in ogni nuovo live. Riconosciute per le loro armonie senza tempo caratterizzate da suoni lo-fi, strumentazione classica e ritmi innovativi, le sorelle del duo CocoRosie continuano a elevare il loro suono in ogni nuovo progetto discografico.
È appena uscito il loro nuovo e atteso album “Little Death Wishes” in cui le CocoRosie raccontano una storia caleidoscopica delle difficoltà generazionali delle donne e le realtà frantumate della loro vita.
Le CocoRosie hanno confermato le nuove date del tour europeo e siamo onorati ed estremamente felici di averle in concerto al Teatro Miela a Trieste.

Sierra Casady is a classically trained opera singer and theater actress, while Bianca Casady is a poet and visual artist. Their performances explore the human experience, blending theatrical practices, high fashion, and contemporary art. Through their radically subversive conceptual art, CocoRosie use irreverence to address human rights issues and provoke reflection on social values.
Sierra Casady è una cantante d’opera con una formazione classica e attrice teatrale, mentre Bianca Casady è una poetessa e artista delle arti visive. Le loro performance esplorano l’esperienza umana, unendo pratiche teatrali, alta moda e arte contemporanea. Attraverso la loro arte concettuale radicalmente sovversiva, le CocoRosie utilizzano l’irriverenza per affrontare temi legati ai diritti umani e stimolare la riflessione sui valori sociali.

Over their 20-year career, CocoRosie have released seven studio albums: Put The Shine On (2020), Heartache City (2015), Tales of a Grasswidow (2013), Grey Oceans (2010), The Adventures of Ghosthorse and Stillborn (2007), Noah’s Ark (2005), and their debut album, La maison de mon rêve (2004).
They have also composed original scores for four full-scale theatrical productions by renowned director Robert Wilson: Peter Pan, Pushkin’s Fairy Tales, Edda, and Jungle Book. Additionally, they have collaborated with the Kronos Quartet for live performances at the San Francisco Jazz Festival.
Precedentemente, nei loro 20 anni come CocoRosie, le sorelle avevano pubblicato sette album in studio: Put The Shine On (2020), Heartache City (2015), Tales of a Grasswidow (2013), Grey Oceans (2010), The Adventures of Ghosthorse and Stillborn (2007), Noah’s Ark (2005) e il loro primo album, La maison de mon rêve (2004).
Le CocoRosie hanno composto le colonne sonore originali di quattro opere teatrali complete del celebre regista Robert Wilson: Peter Pan, Pushkin’s Fairy Tales, Edda e Jungle Book. Hanno anche collaborato con il Kronos Quartet per delle performances live realizzate per il Jazz Festival di San Francisco
