Podujatie Čítam, píšem, spievam spája deti, učiteľov, rodičov i širokú verejnosť, aby spolu oslávili radosť z čítania, písania a hudby. Tešiť sa môžete na bohatý program, ktorý predstaví dlhoročné aktivity knižnice aj mladé talenty regiónu.
✨ Čítajme všetci, čítanie je super
Motivačná súťaž pre žiakov 1. stupňa ZŠ má v tomto roku už 60-ročnú tradíciu. Podporuje čitateľské návyky, informačnú gramotnosť a zábavnou formou približuje svet kníh. Deti počas školského roka navštevujú knižnicu, objavujú jej priestory, zapájajú sa do tvorivých dielní, besied, výstav i vzdelávacích aktivít – vrátane práce s 3D tlačou, ozobotmi či mikrobitmi. Na podujatí oceníme najaktívnejších účastníkov, ktorí si knihy nielen požičiavali, ale sa aj aktívne zapájali do života knižnice.
✍️ Píšem, píšeš, píšeme
Literárna súťaž pre žiakov ZŠ podporuje rozvoj literárneho talentu a fantázie. V roku 2025 súťaž prebieha v troch vekových kategóriách, žánre poézia a próza a ľubovoľnou témou bola osobnosť a odkaz Ľudovíta Štúra. Odborná porota, zložená z regionálnej spisovateľky a pedagógov, vybrala najzaujímavejšie príspevky, ktorých autori budú slávnostne ocenení práve počas tohto podujatia.
🎶 Hudobné vystúpenia – spevácky zážitok z regiónu
Na pódiu sa predstavia detské spevácke zbory, ktoré prinášajú sviežosť, energiu a radosť z hudby:
Bosé osy – ZUŠ Dezidera Kardoša, Bánovce nad Bebravou
Reprezentatívny zbor s úspechmi doma i v zahraničí, pod vedením dirigentky Simonety Adamkovej.
Osminky – ZUŠ Karola Pádivého, pobočka Svinná
Mladý zbor vznikol v roku 2022 a rýchlo sa vyprofiloval na výrazné hudobné teleso.
Voiceana – ZUŠ Karola Pádivého, Trenčín
„Mladšia sestra“ Osminkov vznikla na jeseň 2024, no už dnes poteší svojím prejavom a súzvukom.

The event I Read, I Write, I Sing brings together children, teachers, parents, and the general public to celebrate the joy of reading, writing, and music.

✨ Let’s All Read – Reading Is Fun
This motivational competition for primary school pupils has a 60-year tradition.
It supports reading habits, information literacy, and brings the world of books closer in a fun and engaging way.
Throughout the school year, children visit the library, explore its spaces, and take part in creative workshops, discussions, exhibitions, and educational activities – including 3D printing, Ozobots, or micro:bits.
During the event, we will honour the most active participants – children who not only borrowed books but were actively involved in the life of the library.
✍️ I Write, You Write, We Write
This literary competition for primary school pupils supports the development of literary talent and imagination.
In 2025, the competition runs in three age categories, with poetry and prose genres.
This year’s optional theme was the personality and legacy of Ľudovít Štúr.
An expert jury – composed of a local writer and teachers – selected the most interesting entries, and their authors will be formally awarded during the event.
🎶 Musical Performances – Vocal Delights from the Region
Children’s choirs will light up the stage with freshness, energy, and the joy of music:
Bosé osy – Dezider Kardoš Art School, Bánovce nad Bebravou
A representative choir with national and international success, led by conductor Simoneta Adamková.
Osminky – Karol Pádivý Art School, Svinná branch
This young choir was founded in 2022 and quickly became a prominent ensemble.
Voiceana – Karol Pádivý Art School, Trenčín
The “younger sister” of Osminky, founded in autumn 2024, already delights with its expression and harmony.
