Building community as an adult can feel weird. (Do I just ask someone to hang out? Do I bake them a pie? Is this too much? Not enough?) But friendship and belonging aren’t luxuries — they’re necessities. In this light-hearted service, Jack Lankford, founder of the Evergreen Community Group, shares what he’s learned from years of planting the seeds of friendship and watching a whole forest grow. Come laugh, reflect, and leave with a few ideas for how to make others feel seen, heard, and welcome — no green thumb required.
