Attendees at The Ticker's monthly after-work happy hour will enjoy a variety of entertaining activities outdoors in one of Grand Traverse County's most popular urban parks. Join County Director of Parks and Facilities John Chase for a walking tour of the Civic Center, try a balance bike race with Norte, compete in a YMCA hula hoop contest, play cornhole with TART Trails, or show off your best ladder ball, sidewalk chalk, giant tic-tac-toe, or slackline skills with GT Parks & Rec. Enjoy Jimmy John's subs, Grand Traverse Pie Company pie, veggie and fruit trays, and other delicious snacks to keep you fueled for all your park adventures!
Attendees will be entered into a door drawing to win great prizes, including:

Admission to this special summer Recess is FREE and open to the public. BYOB drinks are allowed in the park. Recess goes from 5pm to 7pm. The Grand Traverse County Civic Center is located at 1213 West Civic Center Drive in Traverse City.
