Piano Heist comes to Rossland with A Very Merry Heistmas, a festive and wildly entertaining holiday production from long-time musical partners Nico Rhodes and Patrick Courtin. Known for their virtuosic playing, sharp comedic timing, and genre-bending creativity, the duo sets out to celebrate and mischievously reinvent the music of the season.
Through reimagined Christmas classics, masterful piano work, and a healthy dose of humour, the show explores everything from the nostalgic charm of A Charlie Brown Christmas to a rock ’n’ roll–styled Nutcracker Suite. Expect surprises like The Messiah performed on melodicas, a ragtime spin on Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and many more inventive takes on beloved holiday tunes.
What unfolds on stage is a dynamic blend of theatrical flair, storytelling, audience interaction, and musical craftsmanship.
