About the event

Tire Collection Event Day 1
The Kitsap County Solid Waste Division is hosting a free 2-day waste tire collection event in partnership with the Washington State Department of Ecology. This event is for households only. Visit kcowa.us/recycleevents for more information on accepted and not accepted materials.

Accepted items:
- Limit of 15 tires per household.
- Tires for passenger vehicles, light trucks, motorcycles, lawn mowers or wheelbarrows.

No businesses or organizations. Businesses and organizations should hire a licensed tire carrier to manage their waste tires.

Funding for this event is provided by Ecology’s waste tire program. Funding became available in late April 2025 with the need to spend funds by June 30, 2025. Thank you to the Kitsap Fair and Stampede Association for donating the venue.
