IN-PERSON WORKSHOP:
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that uses chemically treated paper or fabrics and sunlight to produce cyan blue colored prints. For this activity we will be using paper and canvas tote bags pre-treated with a light sensitive solution, placing objects, plants, or stencils on top of them, and then exposing them to light to create beautiful and unique prints. Participants will take home a tote bag and 2 paper prints from the activity.
*Registrants under 14 must be accompanied by adult
ABOUT EMILY:
Emily is a self-taught multi-media artist and one of the managers at Plaza Art – Towson. She has enjoyed working with a variety of different mediums over the years but is particularly fond of linoleum printing and oil painting at this time in her life. She loves experimenting with and developing new techniques to channel her creativity and is so excited to share it with you!
