Our longest running and most popular offering, this condensed, one-day workshop focuses on keeping your baby safe and healthy during the “fourth trimester” – the first three months of a baby’s life.

This class is ideal for new parents who prefer a one day class and are looking to get the basics of newborn care, as well as experienced parents for whom the newborn phase may be a distant memory.

What you’ll learn: Topics include:

Normal newborn characteristics
Overview of feeding options and hunger cues
Hygiene including diapering, bathing, and dressing
Crying and newborn communication
Comfort and bonding techniques
Newborn sleep patterns and safe sleep
Addressing common concerns
