In collaboration with Charlotte Hupfield Ceramics we bring you a mindful, fun and relaxing retreat. Come and switch off from day to day life, connect with nature, spend time chatting to like-minded people, unleash your creativity, and experience some delicious food, all in a beautiful, rustic environment.
Hand build & decorate your own ceramic jug
Spend the morning in the cow shed getting your hands stuck in to hand building and decorating your own jug from scratch. You can cut some of your own flowers from the Pink Welly Flower Patch to use in your design if you wish. You will be guided by Charlotte with step-by-step processes along the way. Coloured slips will be used to add colour to your vases, and there will be a range of mark making tools and texture materials to choose from.
Enjoy a delicious lunch in the farmhouse kitchen
For lunch, enjoy a selection of delicious artisan grazing boards, homemade salads, roasted veg, rustic breads, quiches, pastas and sweet treats.
Pick your own flowers for a bowl arrangement
Whilst your jugs start to dry in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to wander around the flower patch and select your favourite stems to cut, before arranging them into your own bowl to take home with you. Becky will be sharing some of her tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your arrangement, including how to care for it.
The cost of this full day workshop is £145 per person and runs from 9:30am – 4:00pm.
Price includes all materials & tools needed: clay, different slip colours, flowers & foliage, texture/mark making materials, glaze application, kiln firing, aprons, secateurs, flower collecting buckets, hot & cold beverages, lunch and homemade cakes.
