Writing from the Body - with Ceri Baker

Join us for an intimate writing workshop led by the multi slam winning poet, facilitator and former Bard of Exeter, Ceri Baker.

This in-person event will be held at The Barrel House, a cozy venue perfect for creative inspiration.

Limited spaces available so please book, ALL Tickets are set to affordable and Ceri is swallowing the Eventbrite booking costs to keep it that way.

Ceri will be 'fresh' back from (hopefully) completing her full Yoga teacher training in India and look forward to delivering this seated and accessible 'Yoga Informed' version of her very popular 'Body Writes' workshop; which she developed as the Bard of Exeter last year. It will be a completely new workshop inspired by her trip, with the theme of :

'Writing from the Travelling Body'

The workshop will involve music, gentle stretching, mindful breathing, creative writing prompts, sharing chosen poetry, sharing our own work if it feels ok to do so.

Stay on into the evening 8-10pm for 'Poetry and Pints' a FREE event where Ceri is the feature poet along with an open mic line up of brilliant local poets.

Bring your writing books and pens (although Ceri will have some available).
