Start zawodów - godz. 13.00

„Żelazny Triathlon” to impreza o charakterze kulturalno-sportowym, będąca elementem promocji powiatu włodawskiego. Idea Żelaznego Triathlonu zawiera w sobie dwa aspekty, połączenie sportu i historii. Zawody mają na celu upowszechnianie triathlonu jako wszechstronnej formy ruchu oraz idei zdrowego stylu życia, oraz są przypomnieniem bohaterstwa Polskiego Podziemia Antykomunistycznego.

Zawody organizowane są w klasyfikacji OPEN kobiet i mężczyzn na dystansie sprinterskim - 750 m pływania, 20 km jazdy rowerem oraz 5 km biegu.
Trasa obejmuje dwie miejscowości Okuninkę i Orchówek.
