You are missing out….! The Terres de l’Ebre, (in English, ‘Ebre Lands’) are a quiet secret. This region includes the counties of Baix Ebre, Montsià, Terra Alta and Ribera d’Ebre and not only boasts some of the finest wines and fresh produce in Catalonia, but sweeping mountain ranges, rivers, and a beautiful ocean side. The river delta sprawls through the lower course of the Ebro River, and its northern coastal border is marked by the Coll de Balaguer, which is a natural border with the Camp de Tarragona region. The Baix Ebre is only 1h45 drive from Barcelona airport, and it is also a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
