Moinho do Duque opens its doors for a special event that brings together authentic flavours, tradition and unforgettable moments with family and friends.
In a charming setting, the programme begins at 11am with a welcome drink: a glass of local wine or refreshing homemade lemonade and a little bite to set the mood.
At 12:30, we invite you to enjoy a brunch buffet created by @bakes_and_blends:
🥪 Rye sourdough bread open sandwiches with unique fillings
🥗 Fresh salad with homemade pesto
🥧 Tasty quiches
🍎 Irresistible fruit pies
🍫 Delicious desserts (cottage cheese pancakes with fruit compote, profiteroles, brownie cookies)
🍓 Fresh seasonal fruits
🍹 Drinks included: homemade lemonade and iced natural teas
🍷 During brunch, you’ll also have the chance to discover and purchase wines from @quintadacidadoura, with personalised guidance from the owner and wine expert @mariaanapsantos.
☕ Barista specialty coffee available to purchase on site.
🌿 Throughout the day, explore the magic of @moinhododuque on guided tours and, with a little luck, watch the traditional stone-milling of flour.
👧👦 Little ones are guaranteed plenty of fun with nature-based activities from @ecoprojetofontainhas, specially designed for them. We recommend parents bring a change of clothes for the children, as outdoor activities may involve contact with soil, water and other natural elements.
