Head Lice! Families with young ones can get them every year through playgroups, daycare, pre-school and elementary school. Lice infestations are a constant challenge because of resistance to pesticides and our reluctance to use them over and over again, because we don't all know how to get rid of them AND their nits, and because we've forgotten the ways our ancestors prevented their spread.
In this workshop, we'll look at the methods and tools that work, and those that don't. We'll look at ways to prevent catching lice. We'll consider the safety of shampoos, pesticides and essential oils - what they do and don't do. Finally, I'll introduce to to a 100% safe, effective, inexpensive and scent-free technique for killing live head lice and removing their nits, without shaving everyone in the family's hair off!
You'll learn everything you need to know to treat head lice safely and effectively.
