Toronto Public Library and PEN Canada present a special intimate literary evening that celebrates the rich diversity of Islamic perspectives and experiences through the power of storytelling and verse.
Our invited writers Farzana Doctor, Jamal Saeed, Mostafa Al-A'sar and Saima S Hussain will share unique insights through prose and personal narrative that illuminate the breadth and depth of contemporary Islamic voices in literature.
Come prepared to be transported by stories that resonate across cultures and generations. These powerful voices will take you on journeys of discovery, challenging assumptions while celebrating the beautiful complexity of Islamic identity in today's world. Don't miss this rare chance to hear directly from writers who are shaping contemporary literature with their bold, authentic, and deeply human storytelling.
Question and answer session and book signing to follow. Books available for purchase.
