Community members are invited to unite for “Ubuntu in Pink,” a Breast Cancer Screening health fair dedicated to supporting individuals in their breast cancer journey and showcasing vital resources available in Scarborough. The event will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 629 Markham Road Unit 2 (entrance on Greenholm Circuit at Markham and Lawrence).
Participants will have the opportunity to connect with others in the community, gain knowledge about breast cancer screening, and learn about services that support strength, recovery, and overall wellbeing. The health fair features a free Soca Fit workshop (1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.), a journaling workshop, informative educational sessions, social worker referrals, blood pressure check-ins, and on-site mammogram bookings. Light refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
