Often described as television’s most ambitious and uncompromising work of art, The Return (2017) is a hypnotic, terrifying, and hilarious continuation of the story that began in 1990. Over 18 parts, Lynch takes audiences to strange new dimensions while revisiting beloved (and haunted) Twin Peaks characters decades later. It has long been a “white whale” for Lynch fans to see theatrically, and now it’s finally happening.

Parts 4 -6 Synopsis:
Agent Cooper’s surreal odyssey continues as he struggles to exist in the real world as “Dougie Jones,” an identity created by his doppelgänger. While Cooper stumbles through suburban life, the FBI begins to investigate the strange reappearance of his former partner. Back in Twin Peaks, familiar faces deal with unsettling new realities: from Hawk’s search for clues connected to the Log Lady’s cryptic messages, to Shelley’s troubled daughter spiraling out of control. Violence, absurdity, and dread collide as the threads of the mystery grow ever more tangled.
