Tavern RPG: Dungeons & Dragons 5e @ Junction Craft Brewery

Ever wanted to try a role-playing game? This is your chance! Welcome to what we lovingly refer to as our Tavern RPG Tables. Our events feature a rotation of game experts and game systems, so there's always a new world to explore in a one-shot format.

Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the world of roleplaying games, this event offers something for everyone. Come as a group or solo, these are open to play, community tables as a part of our General Board Game Nights.

Age recommendation: 19+

What is ?: A cooperative, storytelling game where you and other players take on the roles of different characters within an adventuring party. As you play, your characters will make friends and enemies, fight monsters, discover loot, and complete quests. There are dice and basic rules involved, and often maps and miniatures or tokens, but the tools that come into play most often are the imaginations of the players.

General Admission Tickets: Tickets for this event include access to the Junction Craft Brewery, and support from our on-site game expert to lead your gaming experience. In addition, they will be ready to help you with player introductions and to run a how-to-play tutorial for your table for anyone new to the game system selected for the night. Tickets are priced and sold per person.

Changeling Membership Admission: Our Changeling Membership includes event discounts for our paid subscribers. After just two events in a month, our members save, with a potential for over $80 monthly! Each Membership ticket must have a single individual corresponding Patreon membership subscription. Proof of subscription will be required at the door.

About : Since 2011, Junction Craft, together with Woodhouse Brewery, have been making exceptional beer honouring tradition but for a modern world, including non-alcoholic beer among a growing set of products.

About : We are a collective of games instructors who host both public and private game experiences in Toronto and together create game content for YouTube. Our mission is to help folks find the right games for their tables and to create safe, accessible, and welcoming community spaces to play games and make new friends along the way.

Info: Come by the brewery early for Happy Hour. Bring a book, or maybe you will bump into a fellow player arriving early before the event to connect. Not only do you get a discounted drink to start off the night, but it's a great way to support our host venue and support local.

Info: When the story opportunity arises, there will be a short bio-break sometime in the adventure. Game length may vary, but the game will end at or before 10 PM when the venue closes. If any new players are in attendance, a brief how-to-play tutorial will be offered at the start of the game.

Info: Depending on the adventure, you may decide as a group to stay late and finish the story, or, grab a board game and join the social! Please help us return the space to Junction Craft on time for their staff to close the building by clearing your tables and packing up by 10:00 PM. Thank you.
